Dennis and his team are responsible for leading all internal and external communications and media relations.
With over 25 years of communications experience, Dennis joined CSM in 2015. Prior to joining CSM he was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at 4-Clarity Consulting and founder of Better In a Day Communications and Executive Coaching.
Dennis has spent a major portion of his career in the global energy business. He was the Vice President of Marketing Communications for Babcock & Wilcox’s Generation mPower, Inc. and was responsible for all communications, public relations, and marketing related to the mPower reactor design.
Before joining the mPower, Dennis served as Vice President of Marketing for the Electric Power Research Institute where he grew funding more than 25% over five years and significantly raised the organization’s visibility in the national and trade media. Before his time at EPRI, Dennis held the role of Vice President of Internal Communications for the Home Depot in Atlanta and spent most of his career with General Electric (GE) Energy where, for 17 years, he progressed through a number of steadily expanding commercial and communications positions.
Formerly a communications professor (Marietta College, Ohio), he has won numerous national and international awards for commercial and communications excellence.
Dennis is a graduate of Marietta College (Marietta, Ohio), and he earned a Master of Arts in communication from Ohio University (Athens, Ohio) as well as a Master of Science in sports management from the United States Sports Academy (Mobile, Alabama).
