Delivering Solutions at IDDBA ‘17

Last week, CSM Bakery Solutions exhibited at the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) trade show in Anaheim, California. The show was a great opportunity to connect with customers in a newly designed booth space, which featured innovative product displays, digital tools, and live demonstrations that captured the latest trends in the retail bakery.

CSM showcased the industry's only line of fully-branded fresh bakery goods. Through partnerships with Hershey’s®, Reese’s®, Oreo®, Welch’s®, The Simpsons®, and Cinnabon®, CSM offers a full portfolio of deliciously indulgent baked goods from the brands and flavors consumers know, trust, and crave. The licensed donut program, including Hershey's®, The Simpsons® and Welch's® donuts, as well as new product launches across the portfolio were very popular.  

CSM also launched its Simplicious portfolio at the show—a new line of cookies, muffins, fillings, and batters that meet consumers’ growing preference for fresh bakery products made with real ingredients. The Simplicious portfolio contains only essential ingredients and no artificial flavors, sweeteners, FD&C colors, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) or unnecessary preservatives.  

A major part of the booth also featured Brill icings. This display showcased new flavor & fusion buttercrémes that blend traditional vanilla icing with a range of delicious inclusions such as Oreo® cookie pieces, Heath® candy pieces, or flavors such as Reese’s® peanut butter to bring your desserts to the next level. Brill buttercrémes also took stage in daily live cake decorating demos performed by CSM’s own culinary team. A number of on-trend cake decorating techniques such as finishing, piping, florals, and texture designs were on display during the demos and in the cake case.
