Michael Delaney and his teams are responsible for all of CSM’s legal, risk management and human resources matters.
Joining CSM in 2014 as vice president and chief legal officer, Michael brings a diverse legal background with experience as a general counsel to two multinational companies and as a partner in two large Atlanta-based law firms. Most recently, he was the executive vice president and chief legal officer of Neovia Logistics, a leading global, industrial contract logistics company with over 6,000 employees operating in 25 countries that was carved out of Caterpillar, Inc. in 2012. While at Neovia, Michael also served as its administrative officer, with responsibility for all global legal, human resources and compliance functions.
Prior to that, he was the executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at AmeriCold Logistics, a global leader in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics to the food industry with over 12,000 employees operating in six countries. He also had responsibility for AmeriCold's administrative departments.
Prior to AmeriCold, Michael was in private law practice as a corporate finance partner focusing on mergers and acquisitions and securities with Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP and Powell Goldstein, LLP.
Michael holds a law degree from the Ohio State University, an MBA and a Masters in Finance from Georgia State University, and an undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College.
